DATA WAREHOUSE DESIGNER, DATA MODELLOR (FINANCIAL/BANKING) - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

Languages: ENGLISH with FRENCH and/or DUTCH

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE IN:
- Insurance industry modelling
- Insurance data integration design
- Conceptual/Logical and. Physical Modelling
- Data warehouse modelling approaches like 3 Normal Form, Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault
- Ability to make the distinction between a theoretical & practical model.
- WAREHOUSE MODELLING CONCEPTS:
- Bus Matrix
- Fact vs. Dimension
- Type1/Type2 Slowly Changing Dimensions
- Fact Loading Strategies (Transaction/Snapshot/Aggregating)
- Delta Loading
- Knowledge of other methodologies, and services approaches are considered an asset.
- Experience in an agile delivery environment.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Collaborative data modelling for the existing and new data warehouse and data integration layer.
- Collaborative data integration design primarily for the new data warehouse and data integration layer.
- Review, validate, and provide input to data models and data integration designs developed by others.
- Collaborate closely with the architects and the team Set-up & maintain the data modelling and data integration design under version control.
- Share the knowledge within and outside the team pro-actively.
