Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence Developer

Yoh has a SIX (6) month CONTRACT TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY for a DATA WAREHOUSE/BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER to join our client in New Orleans, LA.

KEY SKILLS:
- ERWin, Oracle DB, Informatica, Cognos Framework Modeling, and SQL Server SSAS skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce technical specifications and development of data warehousing (DWH) solutions.
- The candidate will work directly with customers to understand business data and reporting requirements THEN TRANSLATE THESE REQUIREMENTS INTO DWH SOLUTIONS USING A CORPORATE INFORMATION FACTORY (CIF) APPROACH.

Job Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of DWH concepts (EG, CIF, ETL, MDM, OLAP, ODS, DATA PROFILING, DATA MARTS, STAR SCHEMA, ANALYTICS, RELATIONAL VS. DIMENSIONAL MODELS) is required.
- Good level of experience in LOGICAL AND PHYSICAL DATA MODELLING for relational and dimensional models is required.
- Expert experience as HANDS-ON SQL SERVER DATABASE AND SSIS DEVELOPER IS REQUIRED.
- Experience with SQL Server SSAS, IBM/Cognos BI and ERWin are a strong plus for this position.
- One (1) or more years of SQL Server DB and SSIS development experience.
- One (1) or more years of data modelling, Erwin experience is preferred.
- Solid understanding of Datawarehouse concepts and challenges.
