Data Warehouse Architect - Teradata, ETL, BI - Federal Government

Our client is a high profile Government Agency located in CANBERRA. The department is looking for an experienced DATA WAREHOUSE ARCHITECT to develop and implement a range of enhancement activities to improve the timeliness of information provision, increase the available information holdings and improve report performance. This is a highly sought after 9 month contract position commencing in October with a view to extend for 12 months and an excellent hourly rate on offer for the successful candidate.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

- Design and implement improvements to the EDW Architecture;
- Provide high level technical expertise in the Teradata platform and integration with other systems/Project deliverables;
- Develop the data and information architecture layers to support the overall target model;
- Work with the Enterprise Business, Applications and Infrastructure Architects to deliver enterprise solutions and;
- Work with technical delivery teams to ensure compliance to the agreed architecture.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS/DEMONSTRATE;

- Extensive and demonstrated experience with designing and implementing Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Architectures;
- Proven and extensive technical expertise in the Teradata platform and integration with other systems/Project deliverables;
- Experience in Developing overall ETL architectures that maximises the capabilities of the EDW platform and;
- Experience in developing Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence strategies and designs.
