Data Warehouse Architect

Seeking a Data Warehouse architect to work on Teradata and other data warehouse projects working on data sourcing and integration. Will work with cross-functional teams to design and implement business requirements, building and architecturing a large and complex data warehouse. Responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions on enterprise data warehouse architecture, and defining solutions to problems through reasoned application of information technology.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Expert knowledge of ETL, Unix Shell Script, SQL, Data Modeling
- 8+ years' experience in large and complex enterprise warehouse systems. Solid Enterprise data warehouse architecture, design and deployment experience using industry best practices and a broad knowledge of Database systems, Master Data Management and Big Data technologies
- Strong and broad knowledge of database design tools like ERwin and ETL tools
- Expert knowledge in Teradata/Vertica
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present technical details to senior management
- Previous work as an architect with good design/solution implementation skills and experience.
- Strong and broad knowledge of Data Integration tools (Informatica, ODI etc.)
- Strong and broad knowledge of Metadata Management tools
- Demonstrated ability to identify real-world problems and develop technical solutions to solve them
