Data Warehouse Architect

A Data Warehouse Architect is required to develop and implement a range of enhancement activities to improve the timeliness of information provision, increase the available information holdings and improve report performance.

THE ROLE:

- Design and implement improvements to the EDW Architecture.
- Providing high level technical expertise in the Teradata platform and integration with other systems/Project deliverables.
- Develop the data and information architecture layers to support the overall target model
- Define detailed architecture patterns and principles to inform project solutions to ensure they are developed in accordance with the target model
- Work with the Enterprise Business, Applications and Infrastructure Architects to deliver enterprise solutions

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Have extensive and demonstrated experience with designing and implementing Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Architectures.
- Proven and extensive technical expertise in the Teradata platform and integration with other systems/Project deliverables.
- Proven experience in Developing overall ETL architectures that maximises the capabilities of the EDW platform
- Demonstrate ability to work with technical delivery teams to ensure compliance to the agreed architecture.
- Proven experience in Developing Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence strategies and designs.
- Proven experience in an advisory role on complex projects, to ensure requirements are met.
- Understand and describe BI requirements and evaluate data for conformance to expectations.
