Data Visualization Developer - Java/C++ Expert

Currently working with a top financial firm in NYC. This role would be for a Data Visualization Developer for the development of rich interactive graphics, data visualizations and charting. As a Data Visualization developer at this shop, you will be responsible for design, development and production support of interactive data visualizations.This position emphasizes a need for an artistic mind to conceptualize, design, and develop reusable graphic/data visualizations applications.

Requirements:
- HTML5/Canvas
- Interactive Graphics (JavaScript, OpenGL, DirectX)
- Data processing, analysis, and data modeling
- Understanding of statistical methods, including statistical process control
- Database principles, processes, technologies, and tools (data modeling, design)
- Data Modeling tools (Toad, ER Studio, Visio)
- Experience with Data Visualization tools/toolkits like Tableau, Vislt, ParaView, Protoviz , Maya, 3d studio, etc.
- 10+ years INDUSTRY experience using C++, Java, JavaScript (or Engineering/Math Degree + 6 years Industry )
- 4+ years experience as a programmer in computer graphics. Require experience in modeling, rendering, and animation.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in interactive graphics, data visualization, data mining and data analysis.
- 1 years web development with HTML5/JavaScript/canvas.
