Data Tester

This is an exciting opportunity for a DATA TESTER to join a large, Parramatta based, high profile project. You will be part of a program team in supporting business rule testing and detailed data analysis. Data testing is using existing testing templates from already created functions and SQL queries for detailed data analysis tasks.

IN ADDITION, THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- Proven experience as a Data Tester on IT projects.
- 3 - 5 years of demonstrable data analysis experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in computing and computing industry/business qualifications or substantial equivalent experience in the information technology industry.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Working knowledge OF XML, SQL, MS Access and SPATIAL DATA required.
- Knowledge of GIS desirable.
- A rigorous background in the full life cycle of business analysis activities including functional design, development and testing.
- Highly developed ability to be detail focused, to identify gaps in information and observe fine details.
- A demonstrated capability to meet required project timeframes whilst producing high quality deliverables.
- A proactive and team oriented professional with excellent written and oral communication skills.

This is an initial 6 month contract, requiring a start as soon as possible.
