Data Systems Analyst / Business Analyst - Derivatives

A global Investment Bank is currently seeking to hire a contract Data Systems/Business Analyst to join a strategic programme of work within the Derivatives Trading business.

The successful candidate will own the requirements validation, data analysis and functional design of large, complex, front to back projects, then work with developers, testers and PMs, as well as other teams to drive the project through to release.

Required skills:

- Extensive technical skills around SQL and understanding of database concepts is essential
- Systems and Data Analysis
- Experience in data modelingmapping
- Experience in validating requirements
- Experience of work on front to back projects
- Experience in testing data flows and mappings both internal to a system and between systems
- Experience working with IT and business stakeholders at all levels
- Data Quality
- Investment Banking experience around Derivatives and Risk.
