DATA SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Beaverton, OR.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Linux OS
- Server Administration

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Systems Administrator will build, assemble, and configure hardware in prototype and production Servers.
- Systems Administrator will root cause hardware issues and manage spares inventory required to keep the Servers operational.
- Systems Administrator will manage network connectivity and Switches to support remote access functionality for a diverse user
- Systems Administrator will manage stakeholder expectations and deliver best-of-breed support to all projects and users. Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation in pro-actively scheduling tasks and projects.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or relevant combination of training and experience
- MINIMUM three (3) plus years of experience with Windows and Linux (UNIX) server administration including Active Directory, Domain Name Services and DHCP.
- MUST BE CAPABLE OF LIFTING RACK MOUNTED SERVERS UP TO 40 POUNDS AND FAMILIAR WITH GENERAL DATA CENTER SAFETY PROCEDURES
- Expertise in administration of IIS (Internet Information Server) and Apache Web Servers including installation, configuration, monitoring, upgrade and Web Application installation.
- Knowledge of computer diagnostics and installation, to include hardware/software troubleshooting and networking
- Familiarity with the operation and configuration of networking protocols, network interface card installation, Switches, Routers and similar components

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of data center power system
- Knowledge of wire and cable management
- Knowledge of IP-KVM
