The Role:

Global Engineering company requires an experienced Data Supply Chain Administrator to assist on major projects.

Responsibilities:

*Data quality.
*Data entry.
*Data Validation.
*Spread sheet comparison.
*Data entry/Data manipulation.
*Data entry must be used to this at a high level and high quality Data collection, cleaning, storage and transformation.
*User support for data capture and entry.
*Operate data supply chains with responsibility from source to end user.
*Operate supply chains to meet agreed service levels.
*Provide a data support service, ensuring customers satisfaction to agreed service levels.
*Support customers on issues raised on an ad-hoc basis through effective utilisation of existing data supply networks.
*Ensure continuous improvement across data supply chain through opportunity identification, sharing best practice and learning.
*Support development of new data supply chains as the operator.
*Promoting and supporting the use of executive systems.
*To liaise as required with data suppliers internal and external), to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data provision and its consistent storage in line with mandated standards.
*To resolve data errors and anomalies by liaising with Data Supply Chain Analysts, Data suppliers and as appropriate, other areas of the business.
*To store/file information as appropriate.
*To undertake retrievals of service data in support of the Data Centre activities.

Technical Skills:

*MS Excel - lots of previous Excel including Macros MS Office MS PowerPoint creation High volume data entry/data checking Attention to detail.
*Can demonstrate significant experience in the extraction, manipulation, analysis and interpretation of data in order to translate data into actionable information.
*Data management.
*Has significant data analysis experience. Understands which techniques to apply. Highlights emerging trends and potential issues to the customer
*Has the ability to extract and interpret key pieces of information from various types of reports.
*Excellent presentation skills.
*Excellent oral/written communication skills.
*A good working knowledge of updating and maintaining databases.
*Proven track record identifying and implementing process improvements.
*IT literate - MS Office & high level of MS Excel experience required.
*Good keyboard skills.
*Deadline driven.
*Team player.
*Methodical, diplomatic and logical thinker.
*Expertise in data management tools, techniques and technologies would be extremely advantageous.
*Experience of developing VBA macros in excel.
*SQL/database knowledge
