Our client is a high profile Government Agency with offices located throughout Australia. The department is looking for multiple experienced DATA STORAGE SPECIALIST to join their state office in the ACT. Working with the Required to commission/configure new storage and backup requirements for projects in flight and planned though the configuration and connection of server hosts to a HDS array.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO;

- Manage physical SAN cabling connections
- Document storage design considerations
- Manage change control for SAN changes
- Configure storage for virtual and physical Servers
- Configure SAN storage and replication

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS/DEMONSTRATE;

- 5 years as a SAN Administrator
- Hitachi Enterprise and Midrange storage Arrays
- Solid understanding of SCSI, Fibre Channel, SAN, NAS, RAID and I/O Storage Sub-Systems;
- Experience with Storage replication and geoclustering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
