Data Steward/Analyst

DATA STEWARD/ANALYST

POSITION:

Reporting to the director, the Data Steward cooperates with the Transparency Reporting Disclosure Team, Business Technology Procurement, and Business Operations to produce accurate data of the highest standard for payment disclosure postings, filings and reports related to Transparency Reporting.

The Data Steward will ensure that source systems, payment disclosure data repository, customer master, and other applicable systems evolve to meet payment disclosure needs. This position is ultimately accountable for ensuring the accompanying standards, processes and data are of high quality to meet the EFPIA payment disclosure requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contribute in the production of core stakeholder standard reports
- Respond to ad hoc requests for clarification, additional information and reports regarding grant and contribution funding
- Implement a consistent approach to reporting Payment data for Transparent Reporting
- Clarification and preparation of reports for postings and filings
- Production of Accurate and timely financial data
- Preparation and participation in spordic audits and inspections
- Respond to queries from management, business unit leaders, and other stakeholders as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3-5 years minimum of professional experience within; finance, accounting or database management
- Expert working experience of Excel and knowledge of creating Excel Macros
- Expert knowledge and understanding of database principles and data management
- Excellent SQL skills
- Knowledge of database tools such as; SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Business Objects and SUN Systems ect.
- Excellent communication skills; written and oral are essential
- Dealing with multi-national customers
- Excellent team work skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Fluency in any European languages is very desirable
- Knowledge of financial reporting is also desirable.
