Data Steward

An Engineering data steward is required for an initial 12 month contract located outside of Dublin. The data steward will be responsible for assisting the Lead DBA in the population, creation and coordination of the Master Project Database.

Role and responsibilities:
* Assist with downloading of Engineering Deliverables (Line List, Valve List, Instrument Index, Equipment List etc) into MPD.
* Ensure MPD milestones are met in relation to Master Project Schedule
* Liaise with Construction Group to ensure all Receipt Verification (RV) requirements are met
* Creation and coordination of all Receipt Verification (RV) and Installation Verification (IV) Checksheets
* Liaise with Construction, CQV and Maximo Units in relation to RV/IV deliverables
* Ensure any discrepancies found during Verification Process are categorized and documented appropriately
* Data-input into the MPB
* Maximo understanding for downloads of information from MPD to Site Maximo System
* Proven Access Database knowledge and user requirements
* Prioritise Document and Database preparation activities in line with the project schedules and business needs
* Perform Verification activities under tight schedule constraints without effecting quality output
* Skill set to read and understanding P&ID's and other Engineering Documentation
* Understand and appreciate both GDP and GEP requirements

Skills & Qualifications:
*Relevant 3rd Level Qualification in science or engineering
*Team player, adaptable, flexible and pro-active ethic

Experience:
*High level of Access Database understanding or equivalent
*CQV experience, primarily RV and IV
*Good Maximo understanding or equivalent
