Are you a Data Scientist specialised in Text Mining and Natural Language Processing (NLP) wanting to expand your Big Data skills while contributing towards developing an intelligent healthcare system with the potential to impact patient care? Are you a highly motivated individual interested in the challenge of building solutions for large, medical data to aid ground-breaking research in cancer and cardiovascular diseases? This may be the right opportunity for you.

A challenge in healthcare today is to develop advanced informatics tools to harness the full benefits of healthcare-related data. In this project we aim to implement a Big Data platform to extract, organise and analyse historical medical imaging data available at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust (GSTT).

This position is available from 1st of September 2015 or a date to be agreed for the duration of 1 year.

The selection process will include competency based questions, a presentation, an assessment and a panel interview.
