My client, an electronics company based in Brussels, is looking for a Data Scientist to work in the Fraud Detection team on a temporary basis.
Job Title: Data Scientist/Fraud Detection Specialist
Basis: Temporary
Contract Length: 12 months (with extension)
Pay Rate: €55-65 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Description
*The candidate will suggest hypotheses and create experiments to get suitable data to validate these
*The candaiate will investigate and visualize the data, communicating the knowledge to the team and business.
*They will then design models that use existing and future data to create value
Skills Required
*Capable of managing and analysing large datasets using standard data science toolsets in R or Python
*Experience with relational and non-relational databases, knowledge of SQL and Apache Spark
*Masters or Doctorate degree in a quantitative field necessary (mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering, etc.)
*Has at least 2 years of experience of using supervised and unsupervised machine learning models on real world problems
*Experience with H2O.ai, KNIME or SparkML is beneficial
