Data Scientist - English Speaking Contract in Zurich

This position joins a team of data scientists/analysts working in a fast-faced, multidisciplinary environment.

You will collaborate with marketers and engineers to shape the customer experience. Flexibility and ability to learn quickly is vital as team members work on a wide variety of projects and rotate domains/roles/responsibilities regularly. Candidates must be highly self-motivated and work well with project deadlines. Some evening meetings are expected as collaboration with stakeholders in US is required.

Responsibilities:

The only constant is that you will write code. The team is structured so that there is no typical day. Instead we rotate regularly to different projects and responsibilities change as required. You may work alone, lead or be a contributor on projects.

Requirements:

- DEGREE IN QUANTITATIVE DISCIPLINE
- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
- Experience with common data science toolkits/software environments
- Excellent Scripting and programming skills
- Experience with databases and big data technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile principles and ways of working a plus
