Data Scientist

Are you a Data Scientist, qualified in a Masters or Doctorate degree in a quantitative field and have a passion for machine learning models?

You could be a significant contributor at a very-well established and successful R&D software group, focusing on developing security fraud detection systems.

Your input will include the creation of tools and models to be used by the business line. You will identify anomalies in web traffic subsets, propose hypotheses and design experiments to validate them. You will explore and visualise data, creating models that use existing and future data and communicate your findings to the business.

This is a 12 month rolling contract, with a competitive hourly rate.

YOU WILL NEED:

- A proven ability to manage and analyse large datasets using standard data science toolsets in R or Python.
- A good understanding of machine learning models.
- Have experience (commercial or academic) of relational and non-relational databases, SQL and Apache Spark.
- Experience with H2O.ai, KNIME, SparkML would be advantageous.
