Data Scientist

For a very well known and exciting company I am looking for a Data Scientist who is available for at least 3 months to optimise the existing software.

The job will include:

- Developing segmentations, statistical insights and predictive models.
- Deep data analyzation to understand patterns and trends.
- Transform these analyzations into actionable reports, algorithms and filters.
- Communicate findings to regional and global executives.
- Provide technical expertise in findings.
- Partner with business units and challenge their thinking, help with direction.
- Work across different teams and projects.
- Share best practices with different analysts across organisation.

- Strong mathematical, scientific and statistical modelling skills.
- Experience in statistic modelling, segment building, predicting analytics.
- Solve problems trough textbook methods and new insights.
- Good SQL knowledge.
- Good SAS, Matlab, R or other data mining package knowledge.
- Good Hadoop knowledge.
- knowledge of Search Algorithms is a plus.
- Ability to work with business partners to advise on similar projects.
- Translate highlevel directions into workable projects and complete these set ups with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- 4 plus years experience in Costumer Analystics.
- Quantitative degree
- MSc or PhD is a plus.
