Data Scientist

IT Labs Research project around new Dynamic User Experience (UX) concept. Proving out ability to determine a user's behavior patterns across applications and environments, through extensive data mining and applying mathematical algorithms.

Sponsor will provide direction on the data sources to data mine and the goal state experience that will determine data mining focus and how algorithms need to be applied.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Informatics, or quantitative scientific field
- At least 7 years relevant work experience
- Deep and broad knowledge of data mining methods and tools
- Ability to reduce problem to mathematical/statistical questions/hypotheses that can be answered through data mining
- Demonstrated problem solving and strategic thinking ability
- Algorithms knowledge
- Hypothesis Analysis, Mappings, Mahout
