Global financial services organisation currently seeks a Data Science Manager to initiate, create and launch a brand new capability that has complete stakeholder buy-in and a vast amount of investment.

To apply you will ideally have a strong background in Data Management and/or Data Analytics with an academic track record in a numerical or statistical subject.

You will ideally have a genuine passion for the latest trends and developments in Big Data and Data Science and aren't afraid of pioneering new ideas and concepts in these domains.

Experience with SAS, R, SPSS, C++, Matlab or similar is highly desirable.

It is essential that you are a self-starter who would feel comfortable and excited by creating a new capability on a green field site.

You must have excellent stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills.
