DATA QUALITY ENGINEER

INTRODUCTION:

Are you the international service oriented person who helps the organization improving the service level performance towards our customers? You will secure that field performance data meets the quality standard which is required to enable the analysis leading to the improvement opportunities with the biggest performance impact to 48 offices and customers worldwide

JOB MISSION:

As an Data Quality engineer you will be the link between our client data providers in the field and the performance analysts and system developers in the head office.

You will be expected to drive the organization towards providing quality performance data enabling improvements for installed base systems at key-customers by providing means and methods to the data providers on field Key Performance Indicators including availability, reliability, eXtreem Long Downs, labor hours and parts usage.

Your general system and field knowledge will enable you to identify which area of the performance data requires improvement.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You support the Customer support engineers in their job to providing quality data and information for performance analysis and management. You own and maintain the processes and work instructions needed to ensure the right information and data is available to the organization to drive the right performance improvements. You train the data providers and are the point of contact in case they experience problems or have questions. You monitor and steer the output of the data providers with respect to the required quality.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor or Master degree in a technical field (eg Information Technology, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Business Administration or other technical backgrounds).

EXPERIENCE:

5 years or more experience working in an engineering role in an international setting, preferably in a semiconductor industry supplier role.

PERSONAL SKILLS:

- Capable of dealing with a very broad range of technical subjects;
- Result driven;
- Able to drive, steer and convince others;
- Able to write clear application documentation and work instruction;
- Knowledge of software applications, preferably database applications
- Able to build network cross department
- Good communicator and team player;
- Cultural awareness;
- Excellent English language skills in speech and writing;
