Data Quality/BI Analysts - Multiple Openings

Will be responsible for designing and developing data quality monitoring Reports, and profiling through the use of Informatica IDQ and SQL.  Will work with DQ Tech Leads and Business to understand DQ requirements.  Work with DBAs, BI team, DW team, DW Business and System analysts to understand data sources and execute/implement DQ requirements within the data profiling environment. 

Job Responsibilities:
 Develop and Implement Data Quality Rules/Checks using DQ Tools (Informatica),  SQL
 Design and Develop Data Quality profiling requirements and metrics
 Create data quality dashboards specific to application, business unit, or data governance domain needs
 Identify data quality issues in reports, applications, or across data sources, assess causes of problems, and lead or participate in efforts to remediate data quality root causes- within data warehouse or upstream sources.
 Participate in Data Governance processes to define standards relating to data quality
 Responsible for advancing customer's Data Quality Program through the development and use of data quality tools
 Perform analysis and define best practices on data balancing and certification.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Requires an BA/BS degree or technical institute training and Min of 5 years experience within a BI or Data Quality development role (within a healthcare/payer organization preferred)
- Must have experience with Informatica IDQ 9.1+ (Analyst and Developer) 
- Knowledge of IDQ 9.1+ standards, guidelines and best practices
- Knowledge of Data Profiling guidelines and best practices
- Demonstrated experience with design and implementation of Informatica (IDQ v9.1+), Data Quality applications for the business and technology users across the entire full development life cycle
- Strong SQL experience with extremely large and complex data environments required (5+ years) 
- Teradata experience strongly preferred
- Develop data quality dashboards/scorecards using Business Objects
- Excellent understanding of healthcare and ability to anticipate needs of the business
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to drive to results
- Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, and planning skills required
- Must be both hands-on as well as have the ability to define and explain complex concepts and solutions and design to technical and business audiences.
- Knowledge of Informatica components required to operate Data Quality (PowerCenter required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.  4+ years working as a business/systems analyst within an Agile/Iterative delivery model preferred
- 4+ years working on projects with exposure to Sr. leadership.
- 2+ years using Rational Tools such as Requisite Pro or equivalent requirements tracking tool to maintain requirements and trace relationships preferred
- Must work well under pressure 
- Must be able to excel in a diverse work culture  WellPoint enterprise data experience/subject matter expertise preferred
