Data Quality Assistant (Brussels)

Je functie: Context
Risk Strategy supports the definition, execution and monitoring of the risk strategy by providing internal and external stakeholders with accurate, comprehensive, relevant and timely analysis and reporting on the Bank's risk exposures and on their potential evolution.
Data intelligence (DI), one of teams of Risk Strategy, contributes to this mission by
° Developing and maintaining tools such as databases, reporting environments, stress test and simulation engines
° Producing accurate and coherent datasets for use by other teams
° Follow up data quality at local level and support and follow up data quality initiatives

Function Description
Coordinate and analyse data quality in the context of
1) Manage local data quality issues : analyse & coordinate issues in context of local reporting activities. Liaise with other entities within the bank in order to follow up and report progress to head of Data Intelligence.
2) Follow up all issues related to our company communicated in the context of the group quality assessment committee. Act as SPOC for this committee.
3) Analyse and coordinate initiatives in the context of the RADaR program.

Experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Technical Experience
Mandatory
° Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
° Experience with reporting environments (BO or other)

Preferable
° Affinity with credit system & related Basel implementations

Business Experience
Mandatory
° Project management skills
° Knowledge of a bank's credit risk
° You have a resolutely analytical mindset, which enables you to constructively challenge the information you work with;
° You are a quick learner and you are able to organise your work in an efficient way
° Your strong drive to get the job done does not prevent you from paying attention to all relevant details in the process and in the deliverables;
° You have very good verbal and written communication skills; you can author clear, structured and synthetic documents;
° You have a good personal organisation to work on several demands in parallel and achieve your results on time. You work in an autonomous manner while escalating issues when necessary.
