Data Quality and Compliance Officer - HQ

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Data Quality and Compliance IT Analyst/Advisor based at Essex Police Headquarters.

This is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to work meticulously with the Data Quality and Compliance team and members of the IT Directorate (ITD) to deliver a mechanism that will monitor and report upon the quality of key data attributes and where possible individual compliance with business processes and data quality rules.

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be required to interpret the business requirements and ensure that the performance of individuals and business areas can be measured. The successful and timely delivery of this solution is essential to the ongoing development of the Force Data Quality Programme of work.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of systems development and in particular will have experience of working with profiling, cleansing and de-duplication tools, Oracle BI, BOb, Excelcius , MS Reporting, SQL and Java Script.
