Our client is a highly regarded Federal Government department and are looking to engage an experienced DATA PROCESSING SPECIALIST to provide expert advice and undertake activities in relation to data extraction, manipulation and processing tools for search, retrieval and analysis team.

This is a pivotal role in the department and your core responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Triage and inspection of media
- Extraction and processing of data
- Data mining

To be considered for this great opportunity you must possess the following:

- Oracle or SQL DBA skills and experience
- Triage and inspection of data items on a wide range of media
- Data extraction and processing skills and experience
- Data mining skills and experience

On offer to the successful applicant will be a 18 month contract with opportunities to extend. Also on offer is a highly attractive rate and working with an established and highly capable team.
