DATA PLATFORM CONSULTANT ( AZURE, DATA LAKE, STREAM ANALYTICS )

Data Platform Consultant ( Azure, Data Lake, Stream Analytics ) is urgently required to work for a leading consultancy based between the Netherlands and London on an initial 3 - 6 months contract.

On offer is a competitive day rate of between £400 - £600 per day depending on experience.

As the Data Platform Consultant ( Azure, Data Lake, Stream Analytics ) the successful candidate will be working with one of the industry's foremost BI strategy and technology teams, including working closely with Microsoft, to implement cutting edge projects.

The role will involve designing and building mission critical solutions using technologies such as Azure Web Apps, Azure Service Fabric, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Data Lake, and Azure Stream Analytics.

Key skills required for the Data Platform Consultant ( Azure, Data Lake, Stream Analytics ) include:

. Azure Web Apps & App Services
. Data Lake Analytics
. Azure Stream Analytics
. C# (Azure Functions & Service Fabric)
. Data wrangling & general ETL/ELT experience

Desirable skills required for the Data Platform Consultant ( Azure, Data Lake, Stream Analytics ) include:

. Experience working with Azure Cosmos DB or Azure Document DB
. Experience working with off-shore development teams.
. Experience working with customer matching solutions to provide a single customer view.
. Experience working with revenue management and Real Time pricing solutions.
. Knowledge of GDPR and experience helping companies achieve compliance to mee the May 2018 deadline.
. Understanding on statistical methods.
. Experience or awareness of Big Data and Data Science related technologies such as R and Azure ML.
