Data Modeller with Credit Risk - English Speaking Contract in Zurich/i

The IT organization "Core Risk IT" is seeking a Data Analyst/Modeller (Oracle) for the Credit Risk application in Switzerland, mainly for the integration of the Wealth Management data into the existing platform. As a member of the "Core Risk IT" team you work together with Business and IT teams in Zurich, London, other locations.

TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a data analyst/designer you are:

- Responsible for understanding the data, business demand and create conceptual data model that benefits the business to represent their data demands.
- Responsible for creating Logical and Physical data model based on data analysis involving various systems that benefits IT to implement the requirements and determine the data flow and architecture
- Responsible for transforming business data demand into interface specifications (mainly data mapping).
- Main area - on-boarding of WMRC data from Switzerland onto the strategic platform
- The application landscape and toolset is based on technologies like Oracle. Linux, Toad, PowerDesigner

DELIVERABLES:

- Timely delivery of Business Specifications, including sign-off from corresponding business partners
- Timely impact assessment of Change Requests with respect to the overall system
- Review of test cases as defined by both IT and Business, with respect to functional coverage
- Well tested solutions which match stakeholder requirements and fit into the overall Risk Architecture

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- EXPERIENCE IN LOGICAL AND PHYSICAL DATAMODELLING
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
- Very good analytical and design skills and the ability to grasp complex business or technical issues in a structured and efficient manner
- Good experience with Tools such as TOAD AND POWER DESIGNER
- Skilled in tuning, debugging and troubleshooting of PL/SQL
- Good knowledge of both written and spoken English
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- EXPERIENCE IN THE AREA OF CREDIT RISK MANAGEMENT 
- Capability to analyze and understand business requirements and transform them into business specifications
- Advantage: Experience of Credit Risk/Market Risk Analytics
- Advantage: experience with remote development teams (off-shoring, outsourcing)
