Data Modeller - Enterprise Data Architecture

Our client is a Global Company operating in Kildare. They currently seek a Data Modeller to join their team, working at their Manufacturing facility in Leixlip. This is a key roles within our clients organisation to ensure data assets are supported by Enterprise Data Architecture in achieving its strategic goals.

Responsibilities

- Translating business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical data model.
- Build Data Warehouses - Model data to give to ETL Developer
- Assist with development of 'Kimball' methodology driven end to end Data Marts
- Engage with Business Partners to understand functional requirements to design best possible global solutions

Qualifications

- Degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
- Experienced data architect with broad understanding of all components in a large applications and complex data solutions
- Knowledge of Datawarehouse architecture principles, patterns and methodologies and demonstrate expertise in a variety of technology concepts (Kimball preferred)
- Strong Datamodelling and Database experience with at least 3 years experience using Erwin Datamodelling software and SQL Server 2005/2008.
- Must have technical knowledge in specialised Datamodelling domain
- Full SDLC
- ETL experience (Ideally Informatica)
