Data Modeller/Big Data - Contract - Amsterdam and Eindhoven

My client is fast growing consultancy in the Netherlands providing Big Data solutions for clients across many industries such as Finance, Telecommunications, Retail, Insurance and Energy. As they win multiple projects in Amsterdam and Eindhoven they are looking to employ Data Modellers and Big Data consultants on a contract basis. This will be an initial 3 month contract working on existing projects and new end to end solutions.

Requirements
Post graduate degree in Maths, Computer Science, Engineering or Econometrics
Strong knowledge and experience of VBA, SQL in design/maintenance of Business Objects Universe
Banking/Insurance experience
Experience with Big Data tools such as R, SAS, Netezza, Cognos, WEKA
Experience working in a Hadoop ecosystem (Hive and Mapreduce in particular)
Experience in Machine Learning and Data Mining (neural networks, random forest, text mining) is a plus
Strong communication skills and business acumen
