Data Modeler with profound Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- 5 to 7 years relevant working experience as a Data Modeler or Data Architect with practical experience in Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL
- Strong background in data modelling and data warehousing
- Competency of star/snowflake schemas, indexing, aggregate tables, dimension tables, constraints, keys and fact tables
- Practical knowledge regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- EII (JBOSS DV/TEIID) experience is an asset
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus
YOUR TASKS:
- Designing stable, reliable and effective meta models across multiple different manufacturing data sources
- Cooperating with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
- Assembling user requirements and identify new features
- Collecting data requirements for the project and driving the solution based on the information needs
