Data Modeler

THIS IS AN ONGOING CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT BUT COULD TURN INTO A PERMANENT POSITION. CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO CONSIDER A PERMANENT POSITION.

Our client in the Philadelphia area is looking for a SQL Data Modeler to join their team. This is an immediate, ongoing need with a potential to convert permanent at some point down the line.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

- Creating CMDB (Configuration Management Database), not quite from scratch
- Design the database on how best to store the information
- Organize which tables, rows, columns are where, so that we don't duplicate data
- Figure out the indexes
- Create indexes and tables
- Convert/transform data from Dell, Snow, Amazon, Microsoft etc. into one single format.

Required Skills: - Familiar with CMDB (Configuration Management Database) very highly preferred

- Experience with the following a must:
- SSIS/SSRS
- Strong Data Modeler experience (5+ years ideal)
- SQL Server experience
- Excellent communication skills a must
