We are currently looking for a Full time Data Mining Expert to join the Business Intelligence team for our prestigious client. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end analytical project delivery, thereby working closely with the number of stakeholders, including Customers and Tool Specialists.

Responsibilities:

Participation in multifarious data mining projects for the telecommunications industry, ranging from network management to CRM

Work with customer to gather user requirements, understand business setting and processes, translate needs to analytical tasks

Statistical data analysis, design, deployment and maintenance of predictive models

Work with other Business Intelligence team members to ensure data quality, improve existing models, processes and methodologies and design analytical data marts

Feasibility studies on data integration with multiple different sources
-

Provision of trainings to junior specialists

Qualifications/Professional experiences Required:

-

Minimum Bachelor degree in: Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Quantitative Methods, Econometrics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing Research, Economics or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience performing advanced quantitative analyses
-

Good command of IBM SPSS MODELER, IBM SPSS STATISTICS or R (preferred) or other statistical software (SAS, STATISTICA, STATGRAPHICS, STATA, MATLAB, KXEN, etc.)
-

Experience with effective data manipulation (cleansing, transformation, automation of queries)
-

Command of various analytical techniques - regressions, segmentation methods, forecasting, sampling
-

Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (MS SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle).

Good working knowledge of SQL queries.
-

Ability to draw business recommendations based on results of the models
-

Experience with Text Mining, Visual Analytics, Geomarketing, Social Network Analysis is a plus
-

Programming capabilities (C, C++, C#, Java, Perl, VBA, .NET, other languages) as well as Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (IBM Cognos, SAP BO) would be considered an advantage

Fluency in English mandatory, fluency in Polish strongly preferred
