Data Mining Expert

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform data mining activities related to remanufactured product quality issues or dealer service requests.
Analyze data to assist service engineers & teams in finding suspect product, assessing technical risk and implementing action plans.
Summarize analysis results in presentations for effective communication of problem and action plans.
Manage other processes, such as warranty claim debits and warranty reporting to product groups.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree required, but open to non-engineering candidates.
High proficiency with Excel programming, some background in IT to interface with projects converting Excel work to web-based platforms.
Comfort & some technical skill on engines, electronics, hydraulics and drivetrain, to understand data being analyzed.
Good communication skills to convey information, creating visuals to simplify complex concepts.

Desired Skills:
High level of technical background, to independently handle some service engineer work.
Ability to articulate a problem statement and gather supporting evidence to independently initiate quality/CPI projects.
