DATA MIGRATION TECHNICAL ANALYST

Within this role your main duties will consist of Technical expert for the project.
Assess and understand the technical requirements and processes of the system configuration and data migration.
Assess and understand data quality issues related to the project.
Provide technical knowledge and input into the project plan.
Produce project documentation eg Technical Specifications, Test Plans, and Migration Strategy etc.
Produce regular and ad hoc summary reports.
Communicate technical knowledge to the various stakeholders.
Obtain business information and translate into technical requirements.
Understand and assess the impact of project risks and issues.
Organise and chair meetings with SME's (Subject Matter Experts) and ensure requirements are met and included in the project.
Create tasks and agree roles and responsibilities in order to achieve the reconfiguration.
It is expected that successful candidates will have a background within IT, Information/Performance experience.
Experience of using a clinical system.
Experience of data migrations.
Experience of working in projects.
Ability to produce high quality technical documents.
Understanding of SQL data warehouses and Business Intelligence.
Ability to interpret business requirements into technical solutions.
Ability to convey technical information in a variety of formats to multidisciplinary staff with varied technical ability and knowledge.
Strong team working skills.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Word 2007+ Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007+ Expert skills in Microsoft Office Excel 2007+ (Manipulating data, complex formulas, pivot tables etc).
