Data Migration Specialist (C11)

Finite Canberra has a Government client seeking a DATA MIGRATION SPECIALIST.

This is a contract opportunity from August 2013 to April 2014 (Option for extension).

For this Role you must be an AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN with an active HIGH LEVEL SECURITY CLEARANCE.

Responsibilities:

- Data migration planning;
- Data mapping and development of a Legacy data extraction script;
- Development of Data Cleansing Script, Data Masking Script (for test, training and pilot data) and Data Migration Scripts;
- Test data migration; and
- Migrate data to production system.

Criteria:

- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing Data Migration Strategies and Plans to support large, case management systems.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating with business to manage data cleansing.
- Technical skills pertaining to data conversion analysis skills, preferably from Lotus Notes-based Legacy systems to a Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with RDBMS and SQL.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with database programming languages such as PL/SQL and SQL Server stored procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
