Data Migration Specialist

ALL APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE PREVIOUS CONSULTANCY EXPERIENCE AND POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- Advanced technical skills in Microsoft SQL Server Database Management Systems
- Advanced technical skills in data migration tools and scripts specific to Microsoft SQL Server (eg ETL development, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
- Excellent analytical skills and technical writing skills
- Ability to confidently liaise with senior stakeholders at all levels (in particular business operations users and SQL programmers)
- Strong decision making/influencing skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships amongst colleagues and clients
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations and seek to add clarity and context to work being undertaken
- Strong drive, resilience and a passion for excellence
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Extremely delivery focused

REQUIRED RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

- At least 5 years of SQL database design and development experience
- Hands-on, detailed execution experience with several large-scale database conversion/migration projects spanning several months of design, development and successful conversion
- Proven experience in database modelling/design
