Data Migration Specialist

Works with users to confirm shared file and folder content ownership, identify data owners, format and submit security requests for groups and group membership and assist business in moving from the existing state to a leaner, cleaner directory structure. Will coordinate across areas to ensure uninterrupted data access for users during migration, and be responsible for reporting progress.

SKILLS:

REQUIREMENTS

- Associates degree in IT or related field.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory File Services, Security, Share Permissions and data migration (Robocopy).
- Well organized and self-motivated.
- Able to perform on tight timelines.
- People skills as position will require direct contact with key IT users.
- Must be willing to travel on occasion.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
3+ years experience with MS Active Directory security and permissions, customer interactions, and service preferred.
