Synergize Consulting are now hiring for an IT Manager/Lead with strong experience in Data Migration projects to work at a leading public sector client in London on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will be required to manage the transition of a high-profile dataset alongside a leading technology provider, onto a large infrastructure platform, and lead the associated project activities.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing the Data Migration Team consisting of multiple suppliers and ensuring that they deliver to a single plan, and according to Data Migration Strategy and successfully meet agreed key milestones
- Acting as the main point of contact for suppliers regarding data migration and translating legislative and statutory changes to suppliers
- Supporting the creation of the high level and technical designs for data migration
- Be accountable for the migration and reconciliation of Legacy data during cut over, and defining acceptance criteria for data migration testing

Experience required:

- Demonstrable background as a Manager or Lead within projects that are focused around data migrations or transitions, successfully overseeing the delivery of these projects.
- Previous roles within the government or public sector would be highly desirable
- Clear experience managing and overseeing the migration of large data sets and packages, and working closely with multiple suppliers and technology providers
- Financial data knowledge or hands on migrations would also be desirable
- Due to the nature of the client it would be an advantage for candidates to hold or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance
