Data Migration Manager

Our Public Sector client are embarking on a major transition to a shared service centre and as such require an experienced Data Migration Manager to lead the data migration workstream across the UK. You will provide support and guidance by providing the appropriate documentation / templates for the Data Migration strategy, scope, workstream plans & mappings to all other relevant workstream leads.

You will work closely with the customer to identify data that will not be migrated to the new solution and advise on a suitable archiving strategy.

You will work closely with the Oracle development team to load data into the deployed solution using tools built for use with Oracle Business Suite.

You will have significant experience of leading data migration activity with a strong knowledge of Oracle Business Suite models (v11.5.10.2) and an appreciation of Finance, Procurement and HR processes.

You will be responsible for the validation of the data migration activity with a detailed migration project plan followed by agreeing data migration templates which will lead to the successful transfer of data.
