Data Migration Lead

Data Migration Lead required to join our financial services client based in Banbury for an initial 6 month contract.

The selected candidate will join a project team tasked with ensuring the successful migration of data from two ageing systems to new systems. As part of this project the data structure from both the two main source systems and additional minor source systems will need to be aligned for the single target system. The new source system comes with a data import tool set and the supplier will be on hand to provide details of the target data structure.

The role will involve: Source system identification; Data selection; Data mapping; Data cleansing; Migration rules; Data reconciliation; Data format conversion; Data naming; Data structure alignment; Migration sequence strategy eg static v dynamic data; Migration performance testing.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have the following experience
*Experience leading a Data Migration
*Broad systems experience
*Experience of working on Legacy systems (ideally Cobol IMS/DL1 and .net SQL)
*Financial Reconciliation experience
*Team Management experience
*Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders
