Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced Data Migration cut over manager for a new project 1-2 years contract in Helsinki Finland.
The client is looking for 2 experts as they have a need in both finland/and Asia.
POSITION TITLE Data migration/cutover manager
DIRECT MANAGER
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Act as an expert in data migration planning, executing and coordinating of the data migration, cutover and data cleaning activities as part of the projects, and improve the concepts and documentation related to data migration.
Coordinate the work with Senior data migration manager and data migration team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Plan, manage, execute and follow up the data migration work and data quality improvements in our projects
- Act as a data migration and cutover manager in our new implementation projects
- Work as a point of contact for data migration related issues
- Communicate and keep necessary parties informed
- Identify possible template and program development needs and channel those into development
- Perform data migration/cutover management and support local organization in performing data migration as part of the rollout and revisit projects
- Manage the migration IT testing, UVT and go-live migration execution
- Provide after the go-live support as agreed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Education Commercial or Technical background, minimum Bachelor degree
- Experience Minimum 3 years direct work experience in related area.
- Experience in master data, data migration, cutover, data maintenance and related processes
- Experience in SAP and data migration tools
- Experience in working with different cultures in a global company
- Experience in leading people and their work Excellent English skills both in speaking and writing
