Data Migration and Cutover Manager - Central Europe - Contract
Our client who has embarked on a global rollout of Workday is seeking an interim Data Migration and Cutover Manager.
The Data Migration and Cutover Manager is responsible for managing the data migration and cutover cycles for all waves and phases within the HRIS implementation, including but not limited to:
- Developing the data migration methodology and implementation plan.
- Designing and developing the data migration tool set.
- Managing and realizing the conversion of customer data from Legacy environments using a variety of methods and ETL tools.
- Analysis, identification and resolution of data exchange issues.
- Providing an assessment and advice to the project team regarding historical data and volumetric.
- Researching, collecting and documenting the conversion processes.
- Working with business teams to map data schemas between existing Legacy systems and resolve issues of missing or mismatched data.
- Advising business teams on value of which data elements to convert and on data accuracy
- Recognizing and responding by escalating conversion issues in a timely manner to allow for rapid resolution.
- Providing accurate project estimates and work with the vendor project manager to schedule activities.
- Prepare and execute cutover plan for each go live
- Publish daily reporting related to cutover
- Manage issues and risks related to cutover activities
- Liaise with all parties involved in cutover activities
- Maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners, functional and technical team members, and usersThis is an urgent requirement and only EU candidates will be considered.
