Data Migration Analyst

DATA MIGRATION ANALYST

For one of my globally leading banking clients I am urgently looking for a Dutch speaking Data Migration Analyst for an initial contract until the end of the year with likely extensions until end of next year!

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
* An HBO- or WO-degree (university) in an IT-related study
* Experience with IT projects within major Dutch banking organisations
* Proficient in Dutch and English
* Demonstrates ability to think and communicate at a conceptual level
* Very good communication skills
* Enjoys working in large international projects

Specific requirements:
* Relevant working experience > 4 years
* Experience in at least one large data migration project
* Capable to understand Banking Business and translate to data requirements
* Hands on with SQL, able to do data analysis
* Willing to work outside office hours (execution of data migration)
* Willing to work in Europe

BASED IN AMSTERDAM YOUR TYPICAL ACTIVITIES WILL BE:

* With stake holders work out and document data migration requirements
* Describe and detail data migration activities into a coherent Data Migration Solution
* Gather information from a.o. Functional Designs, Solution Architectures, Architecture diagrams and interviews with Subject Matter Experts to enhance DM solution
* Create SOAPs/Designs based on requirements and listed data migration activities
* Document migration activities in an overall planning/run-book
* Perform data analysis to support Data Mapping en Data Quality Assessments
* Align dependencies with other parties (ie Target/Migration Landscape)
* Test/verify delivered functionality against SOAPs/Designs
* Participate in the design of the data migration test approach (test strategy and test coverage)
* Manage Operations and other teams on the basis of the run-books
* Participate in the validation of the data migration
