Data Manager Team Leader

Our Client - a leading ISP and Telecommunications company based in Hampshire has released a contract job to us for a Data Team Leader.

This is an excellent opportunity for a gifted Data Team Leader to play an important role in a project that focuses on the delivery of our client's business-to-business service. This project will deliver hundreds of high-capacity circuits to network operator sites across the whole of the UK.

Suitable applicants will have a good degree, almost certainly in an Engineering, Science or Mathematics discipline. You will have previous experience in Project Management and have managed complex projects, have proven team management skills and be able to think on your feet. You will be familiar with the main elements of modern telecommunication networks, however you do not need to be a technical expert.

You will be expected to quickly gain an understanding of our client's organisation and the needs of the people who rely on your Data. You will be expected to create a plan for your workstream, including acceptance of the database, which is being developed by a third party and the recruitment of your team. Define the process governing the Database, including how others will supply and use your data, negotiate with them, define how data integrity will be checked. Decide which processes are routine and ensure staff received training required.
