DATA MANAGER/RELEASE MANAGER - SERVICE IMPLEMENTATION

NETHERLANDS | 6-9 MONTHS | €500 - €600 PER DAY

My client who sits within the telecoms sector and who are based in the Netherlands seek an experienced Service Implementation Manager/Transition Manager to understand the key challenges that are currently faced internally within the Data Centre Technology area and the related perception from other business areas.

DUTIES:

- You will be working within the Data Centre Technology function, and part of the Quality and Governance team
- As Service Implementation Manager you will provide service definition and then transition of Demand and Release Management (including tooling) for infrastructure teams across Europe
- Have an end to end framework where all teams within Data Centre Technology can use a standardised way of Demand and Release Management
- Demand Management includes Capacity and Request Fulfilment work streams
- Release Management includes Design, Build, Test and Deploy work streams

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- You will be working closely with the Release Management team within Quality and Governance to setup, implement and transition the Demand and Release Management Framework
- Perform a discovery of the as-is way of Demand and Release Management
- Identify the root causes for the challenges and initiatives to resolving the root causes
- Create and approve the to-be process for Demand and Release Management
- Align or incorporate the initiatives to the new to-be processes
- Identify the gaps required to fulfil from skills and technology perspective to meet the new to-be processes
- Reference industry standard where necessary for Demand and Release Management
- Prepare transition plan and roadmap to implement the to-be processes
- Support the business change associated with the to-be processes implementation
- Pilot the to-be processes in one area and measure the success criteria with lessons learnt
- Implement the to-be processes in other areas
- Build trusting relationship with Data Centre Technology Management and Stakeholders
- Send periodic communications and reports on the progress, risks, actions issues and escalations
