Data Manager

I am looking for someone with excellent data management skills to join one of my clients, a major financial firm in Chicago. This person should be have 8+ years of experience, preferably at the VP level or above. This role is a balance between business and data management. This candidate will play a role in the development and maintenance of the business data model, data accessibility, functional and data requirements, data quality and governance and consistent and effective alignment in the understanding of the data elements between IT and lines of business. This person will be working with data architects and line of business specific data owners to maintain the standards of the data quality, data sourcing, and data distribution. Requirements * Leadership experience building a data management organization that is business lead but tightly aligned with technology data architecture * Familiarity with Oracle database framework and architecture and * Experiencing applying database frameworks to a large financial services data architecture framework * Data analysis for business requirement evaluation/delivery of data solutions * Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) technology and implementing as part of broader financial services data architecture framework * Data governance and data quality management If you feel that you are a good fit for this position, please submit your resume highlighting your technical experience as it relates to this description.
