Data Manager

Data Manager 3-6 months contract position of Data Manager in Cincinnati, OH

Responsibilities:
Assist in the development, documentation and implementation of an Enterprise Data Management Program. 
Specifics include assisting in the:
- definition and documentation of data management policies and standards
- definition and framing of data issues and solution alternatives
- identification of reference data sources and contributors
- development and maintenance of meta-data standards and
- drafting business data names, definitions, and quality requirements and
- preparation of presentation and communication materials to advance the Enterprise Data Management program.

2. Provide Full time support for part time Business Data Stewards and the Entrprise Data Management Steering Committee. This includes planning, scheduling and coordinating Data Stewardship and Steering Committee meetings:
- set meeting agendas,meetings on calendars, invite appropriate presenters
- prepare meeting discussion materials and distribute for prior review
- documentation of stewardship and committee decisions and recommendations, meeting minutes
- facilitation of data stewardship meetings.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with experience in meta-data management including full data lineage, source to target mappings, business rules and definitions.  Previous experience as a project manager for data projects and/or in a data stewardship role is highly desirable.  Advanced technical communication and documentation skills with demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts between business and technical groups. Accomplished meeting facilitator with strong presentation skills. Ability to work independently, set priorities, multi-task and adhere to tight and changing deadlines.
