For a leading banking customer we are looking for Data Management specialists for a long term assignment in Zurich.
We are looking for candidadtes from an Asset Management background who have a solid understanding of banking operations.
Job description
- A highly professional and challenging position in a fast changing international environment.
- To be part of a newly centralized team with cross disciplinary responsibilities
- To support the team in providing data services for several front and Back Office systems
- Involvement in project work, supporting the delivery of new systems and system enhancements for the team
- The opportunity to increase your responsibilities on an interregional level in a mid- to long term
Skills Required
- A solid understanding of financial instruments and assets classes including Fixed Income, equities, derivatives, corporate actions, terms & conditions, reference data and security identifiers (including cross referencing and linking of Issuers and Issues).
- Charles River Investment Management System preferred
- 5+ years' experience of operational, data management experience within an established financial institution, investment bank, fund management organization, in-house data group or data vendor
- Knowledge of vendor data feeds, databases and products that update, maintain and deliver data.
- Experienced user of Bloomberg, MS Excel, Access, SQL for querying, analysing and reporting data
- Highly self-motivated with ability to work independently, but a strong team player.
- Ability to stay organized and demonstrated ability to complete tasks efficiently, accurately and on time.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluent English
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with shift-based work
