Data Management Professional

My client, is offering an opportunity for a Data Management Professional to join an expanding organisation offering independent subsurface consultancy to the oil and gas industry on a contract initially to year end with a view to extension thereafter based in Stavanger, Norway.

This role will work closely with the E&P data management team to deliver consistent quality assured data management services to the exploration and business development geotechnical users.

Key Responsibilities:
*Work closely with users to help them will all aspects of Data Management associated with working and reference project building, data preparation, quality control and loading (primarily into Petrel and Techlog)
*Work within the Data Management team to implement and maintain E policies, quality assurance procedures, methodology, best practices and services
*Maintain robust services request monitoring, demand forecast and service review and improvement alongside managing the services carried out by third parties in relation to Data Management activities
*Maintain and administrate corporate, project or other data repositories
*Work with the regulatory bodies, partners and the business to ensure compliance with statutory data obligations, data trades and partner distributions
*Represent the company at meetings and regional forums

Candidates Key Skills Required:
*Candidates will have a strong background in Data Management working within Oil and Gas.
*Knowledge and experience of Petrel and Techlog applications
*Strong Interpersonal and client facing skills.
