Data Management Consultant - Swindon - up to £600 a day

DATA MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT - SWINDON - 3 MONTH CONTRACT - UP TO £600 A DAY

This large financial organisation is actively seeking a Data Management Consultant for a 3 month contract. With multiple branches all over the UK they are the market leaders within their sector; however this role is based at their head quarters in Swindon.

As part of the organisation's Information Management Competency Centre, you will play a key role in implementing the data governance strategy. Specifically as part of a team that focuses on data quality, data architecture, masterdata and metadata, and developing use cases for enabling technology.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:- - Proven experience of data management and governance, including one or more of the following data quality, metadata, masterdata and Datamodelling
- Strong knowledge of full IM life cycle including documented requirements, data management, integration, storage & modelling, reporting and analytic tools and overall solutioning
- Experience of identifying requirements associated with effective data management technologies including data quality, master data and metadata. In addition a good knowledge of these areas of the vendor landscape.
- Knowledge and experience of methodologies for data management and/or governance either through work at several companies, work with consultancies or training/research
- Strong communication and influencing skills, preferably some examples of couching or mentoring other individuals
